"3 Cheers for Kids-Safe Productions
on "Stop, That's bullying!" An interactive
and engaging presentation that incorporates puppets,
dress-up characters, music and song. Kid-Safe effectively
communicates that bullying is not acceptable and provides
kids with "stop and think" strategies on how
to resolve difficult situations. A great presentation
for students!" - -Ann Marie Slak, Vice-Principal
St. Clare School (Peel Region)
"I thought the presentation Kid-Safe
provided for the children fit in rather well with our
anti-bullying focus for fall. We had positive feedback
from the staff that the material was age-appropriate.
The children were singing the songs from the play in
the classroom and in the schoolyard."- -
Bill Campbell, Principal (Durham Region)
Our kids talked about it for
weeks afterwards and they GOT the message! This play
is an absolute MUST for any school wanting to deal with
bullying head-on!" - - Richard Laliberte, Principal
(Ottawa Region)
"The messages Kid-Safe's bringing
for children are really important and they bring them
in such a delightful and entertaining way that kids
don't feel they're being preached at!" - Brenda
Julie, Principal, Fenside Public School (TDSB)
"We want to make sure kids are safe
and learn about peacefulness. This is a wonderful way
to learn something in a way the children can understand.
" - - S. Levin, Principal Pleasant Public School
(TDSB)

Kindergarten Teachers
"Well done! Informative! Entertaining!
The kindergarten class enjoyed the presentation
which kept their attention. We most enjoyed your
use of the puppets and fun music to emphasize strategies
to handle bullying."
"I would recommend you to other
schools because you are INFORMED and
ENTERTAINING!"
Grade One Teachers
"Excellent musical play. Our students
learned valuable lessons about bullying and self-esteem.
I felt it was age appropriate (JK - Gr. 3) because
of the colours, characters, music and vocabulary
used. You addressed the most important points
we are concerned with in our school and MORE.
(your play) Taught students how to deal with bullies
and to not bully yourself. I most enjoyed the
comedy in the play and how you related the characters
and music to what the children are familiar with."
"Good Storyline and interaction
with students. Loud and clear voices, great music
and puppets! Loved the way you used repetition
- very important. Thanks so much for the performance.
You did a great job and our class really enjoyed
it. Thanks for being so ORGANIZED and
PROMPT."
"Fun, enjoyable, inspiring. I
enjoyed the Superfrog aspect of the show because it represents goodness and
feeling safe."
"Delightful! Very energetic and
upbeat! Colour - visually appealing. Sound - easy
and fun to sing along with and very easy to remember.
My grade one students thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
We have discussed many of your ideas in our classes.
Thank you for visiting our school!"
"Well done. Very Funny - got
concept across. I appreciated how the concepts
were reinforced through repetition, props and memorable
songs which appeal to all regardless of their
language skills."
Grade Two Teachers
"GOOD! Lots of variety and details
in music, costumes and actions. The children especially
enjoyed the songs and puppets. I feel it is a good
idea to catch bullying at an early grade level.
I also feel you addressed the most important points
of bullying especially about telling a grown-up
who can help. The kids thought it was "cool"."
This play held the attention
of all the children and teachers. It was full of
colour, action and useful ideas. The music and
sound effects were fun to hear. You related incidents
and personal stories the children could connect
with. Your energy, enthusiasm and sincere concern
is contagious! Also, I enjoyed the active participation
of the actors with the audience because the children's
responses indicated understanding of the suggestions
to confront abuse. The modelling of situations
and the reinforcing of what to do was EXCELLENT
.
Grade Three and Four Teachers
"A very well designed and effective
program that is great fun. The older kids really
enjoyed it. Everything was excellent. Good value
for dollar because of the very clearly delivered message".
- - A. Lakoff, Grade Three Teacher
The production
is a vibrant and fun presentation that addresses a serious
issue. The songs were catchy and involved the audience.
I also liked the way you used visual symbols to outline
the steps we should take when confronting a bully. I
highly recommend Kid-Safe Productions to other children's
educators! - - D.
Milenkovic - Grade four teacher
"As well as being a teacher, I'm
also a parent and as such, I appreciated the fact that you acted out the
parts and then allowed the children to join in the discussions. I will
especially remember how you discussed friendship and how friends can be your
support (ie being with others to stay safe) - and enforcing the fact that
fighting back will not solve the problem - only stretch the problem further."
"Well Done! Set the right tone/balance
of addressing the issue without preaching or over-simplifying
the difficulties. I most enjoyed the playfulness,
the musicality, having the bullied creature be
a frog which I think young kids readily relate
to. It is important that the bully doesn't seem
more interesting than the creature being bullied.
This seemed to be the case for a bit but THEN the
"backbone"character appeared! COOL!"
